Worth Waiting For: The Mug
Guess what, guys!! I am releasing a MUG!
I am so excited. To be honest, I’ve been dreaming of this for years… really, ever since I began this little blog. In fact, I designed and ordered this dream cup three years ago. Yes, before I even had Weston — these mugs have been sitting in boxes in my garage. I didn’t share them here with you all for a few reasons: life was busy and a bit overwhelming, and partly? (Want some totally honesty?) Fear. I was afraid to put myself out there, afraid to take the step of pursuing my big dream (even though I’ve stepped out and chased so many dreams before) Somehow this dream, the dream of opening my own little shop with of encouraging things for you all, was big and daunting and perhaps the timing wasn’t right. But today is the day!
The heart behind my often-used phrase and hashtag, “Worth Waiting For” is that God’s beautiful story for us is so much better than anything we can write on our own. It really began during my season of singleness, which is partly why I started this blog in the first place: I wrote, and shared vulnerably, the struggles and heartaches I walked through as I waited on the Lord. My heart is and always has been that I believe He is our good, good Father and He wants what is best for us — that His ways and plans are higher than mine. That I don’t have to wander around this life aimlessly or take the “pen” into my own hands and write my story. He is writing it for me, and He is good. I have seen with my own eyes the way the Lord miraculously writes stories. The way He led me to my husband, Daniel (more about that in my book) was a reminder of His perfect timing, miraculous ways, and the beautiful stories He writes for us.
I hope this mug is encouraging to you, my friends!! Whatever kind of “waiting season” you are in. You are worth it. You are worth the waiting, the dream is worth the waiting, His good plans are worth waiting for.
You are WORTH waiting for the man who will treat you right.
Waiting patiently on God’s timing for that big as the sky dream to come true will be more than worth the wait.
And ultimately, for all of us, heaven will be worth the wait. Worth the heartache and tears, the questions and “why’s” (He can handle them), the fears and losses, the long nights and wearying days.
Get the mug HERE! And tag me in your pictures of them — I’ve always wished we could have a big coffee date, and this kinda makes me feel like we will be! :)
