sisterhood.

Today is my little sister's birthday. I can't help but think of how thankful I am for her life, and for her sisterhood. Not just "blood" sisterhood - but the sisterhood of girl friends, of women in general. It's a precious and beautiful thing.

I love the line from the song that says, 

And I'm sure it's the same for guys.. just look at a football team. We can't do this alone. We need each other. And I really think sisterhood is so sweet and special because we do just that - lend our tears and smiles - through the ups and downs of this precious thing we call life. I'm thankful for my Sis. For sisterhood.
